Growing up, I turned to drawing and often became deeply immersed in anything that gave me creative freedom to customize and envision a cohesive look as a way of expressing what I couldn’t verbalize—whether that was fashion dolls, The Sims, or art that made people say, “dang, you can actually draw!”
