Dollar Tree is the unofficial survival kit for anyone trying to live life on “I get paid Friday.” They don’t just offer products; Dollar Tree also offers a way for people to stretch their budgets, express themselves, and experience small wins every day. The problem arrives around the end of the year, when everyone tells you the holidays are “the most wonderful time of the year.” However, the reality is that they can be more stressful than magical. To remedy this issue for stressed-out and drained young adults, we’ve come up with a “Magic Without The Meltdown,” a campaign in which Dollar Tree becomes an ally—the place that lets you pull off the holiday whimsy without losing your mind or your paycheck. These ads contrast chaotic holiday moments with ridiculously simple Dollar Tree solutions.

The Meltdown Therapy Wall: A huge wall layered with bubble wrap, wrapping paper, bows, and soft surfaces people can pop, rip, tear, scribble, reshape. This is the “exhale moment” moment before the “magic”.
